Our client was unfortunately the victim of a home break-in and the thieves used his glass bi-fold doors as the entry point to the home. Due to this, he wanted to have security screens fitted to ensure the safety of his home and family.
While we are able to produce bi-fold screens, our client has a fireplace within 100mm of where the security screens would have bi-folded. With this potential safety issue, they needed a different solution.
They wanted to have two independent sliding doors that lock separately so they could choose to open either side at a time. To solve this problem, we installed additional tracking for the doors to create the ability to screen as per the brief.
With safety being the ultimate requirement for this home, our client invested in top-of-the-line Secureview security doors. These Secureview security screens were made to Australian Standards AS-5039 and fitted to AS-5040, and with triple locks on each sliding panel, their house is now safer than ever before.
