Do your screens rust?
Our screens are made to high standards and of premium quality materials. Like any stainless steel product, if proper maintenance is not carried out there is potential for some corrosion to occur.
In order to keep any screen in beautiful and rust-free condition, care and maintenance guidelines must be adhered to.
How should I care for my screens?
Maintaining your screens is simple. There is no need for harsh chemical cleaners, simply use a microfibre cleaning cloth to thoroughly wipe over your screens during your regular cleaning regimen.
Our recommended cleaner is a ‘soft’ cleaner such as Factory Fit cleaning solution or dishwashing liquid. Register your purchase online and you will receive a cleaning mit and Factory Fit cleaning solution in the mail which has been specifically designed to make cleaning your screens simple.
The cleaning method depends on the degree of contamination. Hand cleaning is often the best way for small installations. To maintain your screens successfully, it is important to follow the care and maintenance advice to maintain your warranty. The recommended maximum maintenance intervals provided below are a guide only. Some installations may require extra maintenance due to local environmental conditions. For more information, see our warranty page.
