2019 In Review - Factory Fit Screens

2019 In Review - Factory Fit Screens

2019 has been a big year for the team at Factory Fit Screens! We’re a small local business that is focused on expanding our business to accommodate the growing demand in the market for knowledgeable, professional service and quality products. We’re always striving to go above and beyond for our customers – here are just a few of the amazing things we’ve accomplished this year!

Staff Expansion

Our goals for 2019 were to grow and expand so that we can offer our customers the very best service possible. To achieve this, we introduced several new staff members to the business to continue the amazing work our loyal team have been accomplishing for years.

In January, we welcomed a new General Manager to lead us into the future and have been meeting and exceeding our goals ever since. We’ve also welcomed two new staff members that are being trained to head out onto the road to accommodate the expansion of our services and workload. Our administration team has grown to handle ordering, accounts, customer service, and social media – we’ve built a real powerhouse service team.

Trademark of Bella 316 Barrier Screens™

In March, we trademarked our hero product Bella 316 Barrier Screens™. Bella 316 was born out of the need for a quality alternative to pricier security screens that are also a stylish alternative to traditional diamond grille. As a result, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in our customers choosing our Bella product to screen their homes and we couldn’t be prouder of the overwhelmingly positive feedback

Bella’s Sanctuary Women’s Refuge

In May of 2019, Factory Fit Screens and JJD Enterprises were approached to contribute to a community project called Bella’s Sanctuary. Bella’s Sanctuary is a home that will provide safe accommodation for women and children who have experienced domestic violence. This project was funded and built with the generosity of community donations and materials and labour donated by over 90 local businesses.

Our teams built all of the security screening and installed the product to the home. This was an incredible project to be a part of and we couldn’t be more proud to have been asked to contribute and it was a real highlight of the year for the whole team.

As a result of this project, we were featured in an article in the Summer edition of the National Security Screen Association and Australian Glass and Window Association’s magazine, BuiltView. To read our article, view the issue HERE

Expansion of Services

CoolMate Garage Insulation

The climate and temperature in our part of South East QLD means that we saw a real need to offer a solution to our customers home cooling needs. Our techs have added a new skill to their repertoire with the installation of garage insulation, CoolMate. CoolMate is an Australian made and owned product that drastically reduces the internal temperature of a garage, which flows on to reducing energy and power bills for our customers..

DecoView

These days, homeowners aren’t content to stick to “cookie-cutter” designs and we’ve seen a demand for unique designs and products. As such, in December, we were excited to launch our offer of DecoView screens installation. DecoView screens are high quality Australian made, uniquely designed pieces of art to screen homes and outdoor areas. These screens are a real statement piece and we’re excited to offer this service for homeowners who want to show their individuality.

2019 and Beyond

2019 has been an incredible year for the Factory Fit team. These were just a few of the things we were able to accomplish with the help of our amazing customers and team this year, but we’re determined to grow even further as a business and make 2020 bigger and better than ever.
